I am Jerome, I was a participant in the ocean camps in 2023 and have been helping at the start and end of the seasons to get the Waka ready for the camps. This summer my dream comes true as I will be supporting the crew on the Waka during the season.
I am 19 years old and grew up in Portugal near the ocean, where I developed a deep connection to it. My dad took me and my brother sailing since I was a baby, in the ocean camp, I fell back in love with sailing and this free way of life on the ocean.
I love diving and found my passion of photographing all the fascinating animals that live beneath the surface.
I look forward to finding all kinds of marine animals together with you this summer and learning new things and teaching what I know.
I will be on the Waka for WOA Camp 1,2, 7 and 8.
