You would like to have a WOA shirt or hoodie? Then check out the WAVES OF ACTION Spreadshop!

In addition to the OceanCamps, there are many other WOA activities you can participate in! Exciting workshops and lecture formats where you can get to know the ocean habitat better or familiarize yourself with the topics of sustainability and mindfulness. Deepen your knowledge or get hands-on experience that will help you develop and implement your own ocean awareness project.

Welcome at WAVES OF ACTION – We give a voice to the ocean!

WAVES OF ACTION is the Okeanos Foundation’s youth initiative. We offer you different approaches to experience the sea and learn from the sea. Get in touch with other like-minded people, with experts and actors who inspire you, but most of all with your environment, yourself and your possibilites. From OceanCamps to workshops to individual funding opportunites and the WAVES OF ACTION portal, we offer you a wide variety of formats to get active within a growing creative community, through fun, adventures, encounters and informed exchange.

Our Vision

Me and Us

Mutual and respectful cooperation is the basis for healthy action. Together, many things not only become easier - it is also more fun to learn cocreatively and to work in a community towards sustainable ways of living.

You and the Sea

Healthy oceans are essential for our survival. We open perspectives that combine knowledge with first hand experien so that you can become creative and active through your own motivation.

You and your strengths

When you know your inner strengths, you become capable of action. This also means that you define values and attitudes that shape your actions. The basis for healthy engagement is that you deal well with yourself and know your weaknesses, strengths, limits and needs.
